SN25's miner emissions are split two ways: momentum, paid to providers now, and the reserve, which receives the rest. The reserve pays providers for verified network capacity: more coverage, more reliable routes, and capacity for new Network Operators.
Formula
Reserve =miner emissions ×(1 − momentum)
At launch:2,657 α a day= 2,952 α a day× (1 − momentum)
Momentum is the share of the miner emissions used now to power the network, as rewards to providers. The reserve is not a fixed share. It receives whatever momentum does not use, so it receives less as momentum grows.

02 / Program types
What the reserve pays for.
Programs buy services from providers, not equipment.
Type 01
Network coverage
Adds capacity where an operator's demand outruns supply: more exit locations and routes in the places customers need them.
Verified by
Verifiers from multiple vantage points, with overlap and routing checks
Paid as
Weekly, per verified unit of coverage
Type 02
Route reliability
Raises success rates and lowers latency on routes operators already use, so customers see fewer failed sessions.
Verified by
Randomized probes against agreed availability and latency thresholds
Paid as
Bonuses to providers who meet the thresholds over the service window
Type 03
Operator onboarding
Funds provider capacity for a new Network Operator, so a second product can launch on shared supply.
Verified by
Sign-off on working routes and sustained availability
Paid as
Milestones to service providers, never a registration grant to the operator
03 / Programs
Current programs.
Programs are published here before they are paid. One in preparation is having its terms prepared; an indicative one is expected but not yet approved. A program is active only once its terms are published and providers have accepted them, and its size and payments appear with it. None is active yet.

The reserve account is a native 2-of-3 multisig. It signs only to register its own recipients, paying their SN25 registration burns from its own balance.
Program payments are signed by the same multisig: any 2 of the 3 signers. These 3 keys at threshold 2 derive the reserve account above. Identities are not published.
Mechanism. SN25 emits 7,200 α a day: 18% to the subnet owner and the rest split evenly between validators and miners, so the miner allocation is 2,952 α a day. From 12 Oct, momentum, the share used now to power the network, goes to providers as rewards. The reserve's recipient hotkeys receive the rest, miner emissions × (1 − momentum), so the reserve's share is not fixed. It falls as momentum grows. The page keeps momentum at its launch value until the chain shows one of at least 0.1%, then follows the chain.Sources. The chain figures are read by your browser from Bittensor mainnet through its public RPC endpoints (entrypoint-finney.opentensor.ai, lite.chain.opentensor.ai; archive.chain.opentensor.ai for history), so those hosts see the request. With USD selected, the α price is read from the network operators' stats feeds or CoinGecko's GeckoTerminal feed (grafana.bringyour.com, api.geckoterminal.com). Nothing else is contacted.
